Prospects of Israel-Saudi normalization as part of a U.S.-Saudi Agreement
With every passing week, the prospects of Saudi-Israeli normalization seem to have a better chance of materializing. Jedda and Jerusalem, Riyadh and Tel Aviv are obviously engaged though not yet married, as terms have yet to be finalized. The three baskets are well known - Palestinian Peace Progress, an American Defense Umbrella and Nuclear infrastructure potentially leading to weapons to counter Iran’s. What are the roadblocks on each of these tracks, and is the process beyond the point of no return?
Let’s turn to our distinguished guests, Dr. Eyal Hulata, Former Israeli National Security Adviser & Mossad Division Chief, Amb. William Roebuck, Executive vice president of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington; Former U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, and TV7 Editor At Large: Amir Oren.
