Nuclear Negotiations with Iran – Deadline looms ahead
As the self-imposed deadline, which is set for the 30th of June, looms ahead with just two and a half weeks for the sides to narrow the gaps in a bid to reach a final-status agreement; Iran and the P5+1 – the United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – are trying to tackle the remaining differences.
Both France and the Islamic Republic have voiced little optimism on reaching an agreement by the set date, hinting that negotiations might have to continue for an unspecified time; yet the United States is still unwilling to come to that realization, emphasizing its belief that there is enough time to reach an agreement by the end of June.
