The polls in Israel will close shortly, and with them, will come the exit polls conducted for various television channels, with the actual results probably known not before the early hours of tomorrow. That said, several trends have already emerged during the last couple of months, with a heated campaign mostly conducted between outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his primary rival, retired IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz.
