Historians are often fond of saying that periods are not always marked by round numbers, but rather by events, whenever they happen. For instance, the 20th Century really started in 1914, with the First World War. According to this standard, 2025 will strategically begin three weeks after New Year’s Day, with the change in administrations in Washington.
