Last Sunday Israel has successfully preempted and deflected an attack plan hatched by the Lebanese Iranian-proxy Hezbollah. The risk of immediate escalation into a full-scale regional war has receded for the moment, as the Iranians masters - directing the Lebanese Shi’ites - would rather wait for better circumstances, from their perspective. Nevertheless, Israel cannot let down its guard, as other Iranian proxies, from Syria and Iraq all the way south to Yemen, are plotting their own attacks. So what are the dangers ahead for Israel, as it is still involved in Gaza and Lebanon?
