With a few days remaining before US lawmakers will vote on whether to approve the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 – The United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – set for September 17, President Barack Obama has reportedly secured a majority which would practically safeguard the American adherence to its negotiated commitments.
The new reality has brought about a policy change to critics of the deal in the region – wary of the American resolve on the one hand and the global and regional implications on the other.
