The Problem of Illegal Immigration in South Tel Aviv
In recent years, the illegal immigration has caused a growing problem in Israel. Since 2007, about 50,000 Africans have infiltrated to Israel through the border with Egypt.
They come mainly from Sudan and Eritrea. Most of them are now living in South Tel Aviv. This has changed greatly the character of the neighborhood and it is making life impossible for the Jewish residents.
